MY LIFE JOURNEY
Throughout my life, I have explored a variety of dance
styles, played a myriad of sports and experimented
with a multitude of ways to move.
I was a professional belly dance performer when I
began practicing yoga. The pursuit of greater flexibility
was what brought me to my mat, but the self-study
that yoga inspired within me kept me coming back.
When I discovered Pilates, I immediately knew that it
was the ideal extra element to further develop my
movement practice.
When not teaching or leading retreats, I can be found
climbing mountains, hand-standing in random places
or in my kitchen making delicious vegan goodness for
my family and friends.
I am also the proud mother of two accomplished
young men and a fierce LGBTQIA2S+ ally.
2010 - I completed Hatha Yoga Teacher Training
at Rama Lotus Yoga Centre in Ottawa, Ontario.
2011 - I completed Mat Pilates Teacher Training
at Physical Mind Institute in Vancouver, British Columbia.
2020 - I became a certified Laughter Yoga Leader
with Laughter Yoga International.
